Posted on Aug 31, 2008. • 1 Answer SOURCE: I re-did the guided setup in the Tivo under Messages & Settings/Restart-Reset System/Restart menu section in Tivo. Once I did that, it cleared this issue, even though I didn't have to change any of my settings thru this guided setup.

I tried a reset alone first, but that did not fix it. Only this fixed it. We had lost both power and cable during a recent tree fall in a storm, and when both were restored, this problem started. I have a cable coax directly in the back of the TV (no cable box/IR etc) and the system is on a home wireless network. I actually have 2 identical Tivo's in the house set up the same way but only one had this problem. The other worked no different after the outage. Posted on Oct 13, 2008.
