I have acquired a used laptop that I want to use at home in the kitchen for browsing. It has IE, FF on it for the browsers.Also many files and programs like CCleaner, Microsoft Sec Essentials. I'm not sure what has transpired with browsing on this laptop and would like to erase all browsers, files, programs for fear of something undesirable 'popping up'. If I delete FF and IE then reload,will a 'fresh' browser open or will it find the old browser settings and files then revert back to them? I don't have the original discs.
