If you want I can look into writing a little tutorial or program to edit those files. They are all in binary with no labling. When I was younger I use to poke and prod in those files to change sum of the values with a hex editor. If you know what you are looking for you can make a transport hold thousands of fighters;P and cost half the entire universe in upkeep. EDIT: I decided to just show you how rather than make a program. Steps: -Create a new race (name it, choose an image and give a description) -Do not edit anything else and Accept the changes -Exit out of the game -Open. I just checked and it seems to not work with the 1.072 version(which is the GOG version), it seems that the game was patched to calculate the custom specie's data file when loading each one.
The band runs its own record label, Anarchos Records, on which it has released a few EPs, they have also releases splits from, Deep Six Records & others. Their debut album was released via Nuclear Blast in 2003. Since 2006, they are signed to. Check them at their. Misery index retaliate rar.
Dam this is a bummer:( I should have tested this out. (probably patched to make sure no one used this in multiplayer) The CTD would most likely be caused by going too far in the description, there must be a part where it tells the game how long the description text and name of the species. This info is pretty useless now that it does that check before you start a game.
When I get up tomorrow I will have a check to see if I can edit the already made species to get around the check. Na, I tried for a few hrs poking around in the spec data to no avail. Hull data edits still works in singleplayer but not sure if it works in multiplayer.
(tho as always the AI get the hull data advantage too but it seems to cripple them as they like to build the auto ships which will fill out a massive hull space.(if you say set transports to have 1,000,000 hull space.) Your best cheats are still the research save edits and domestic save edit. When I was younger I improved the 255% research cheat (basically put it to the max integer amount 16,777,215%) and came up with the domestic save edit but it is very expensive.
(Increased each spending on esp, constr and research over 100%). First you need to have a hex editor like normal, than you goto search and find the 0014 0000 0014 0000 0014 0000 0014 0000 0014 0000, than dont worry bout changing the 14 into FF cos it doesnt matter much look at the four 0's behind the 14's and change them into F's, so it would look like this 0014 FFFF 0014 FFFF 0014 FFFF 0014 FFFF 0014 FFFF. And there you have around 16 770 000% in each research field.
I cant seem to find the 2nd one, not sure if I ever posted it. But a short explanation of it to find it. Set speed to 0 (or pause) Save game. Copy the save. Change the 3 fields in domestic menu. Exit out and use a Hex Editor and compare the 2 files for any changes. It should be something that looks like: 0000 0064 0000 0064 0000 0064 Changed to 0000 00xx 0000 00xx 0000 00xx The x's are the number you changed the slider to.
( 64 hex = 100 dec) if you change it to 0000 00FF 0000 00FF 0000 00FF That should make it to 255% in each field. (you can replace some of the 0's with Fs to make it much larger) Be warned tho when doing this it costs a LOT of $ the larger your empire is. Most if not all the 'cheats' for this game are just save game edits or edits to the data files.
